With the precision of a Swiss watch, we get to the heart of our customers’ concerns in every explanatory video . It was therefore time to sharpen our corporate identity accordingly. For our 5th anniversary we treat ourselves to a visual rebrand.

The beginning: The videodesign DNA as a foundation

The entire design and conception phase took more than a year. The starting point for every rebranding is self-reflection: What are our values? What do we stand for and work with heart and soul, every day? How are we perceived? And how do we want to be perceived? It is important to combine and bundle both the subjective and the objective perspective. As an owner-managed, personal and digital Swiss video agency, we offer our customers the highest quality in the field of explainer videos and film productions. We offer everything from a single source , whether it’s an image film, commercial, social media advertising campaign or e-learning explanatory video. Our new appearance should carry our credo as a comprehensive video agency with personal advice and outstanding quality.

The logo: videodesign as a concise image and word mark

As a result, a catchy logo was created, which creates the perfect recognition value both in the written version (long) and as a logo emblem (short). The reduction with the concise red dot embodies our credo of reducing our customer topics to the relevant point. Red as an accent color represents our Swiss roots, which runs through all our work as a signature.

The word mark appears consistently in lower case, which corresponds to our mission statement of a contemporary agency that accompanies the customer personally and close to the market. The font is based on Helvetica Neue, which has been further modified. The most obvious feature is the “v”, which, in addition to the two rounded corners, has an added eagle’s tail at the top right. In addition, certain letters have also been rounded, resulting in a harmonious overall picture.

The basic colors span from the Bermuda triangle ‘red, white and black’. The color concept is complemented by pulsating, radiant and intense colors so that the bubbling creative streak of our fresh video agency does not get neglected.

These color nuances are primarily used in social media and other channels, which have been muted according to the target group.

With the new CI/CD as a basis, we have also given our website a general overhaul. According to the polished positioning of a comprehensive Swiss video agency, the visual appearance shines in a contemporary and at the same time timeless design:

Outlook 2018: International growth with Swiss roots

We have already started 2018 with full swing: In addition to our new Berlin office at Hackesche Markt, we have also founded our German subsidiary ‘V for Videodesign GmbH’. In addition, we have grown in the team and are still on an intensive growth course.

With the new design and the introduction of the domain Videodesign.com, we pave the way for an international positioning of Videodesign. Always with you in your backpack: Our Swiss DNA.
